This Master Weaver volume on lace weaves explains twelve lace structures in an easy to understand manner.  These include Huckaback, Swedish, Bronson, Leno, Cross, Turned and Net weaves and their many variations.  The sections discuss how the structures compare and contrast. The text illustrates the drafts, tie-up and treadling, although there are no photographs.  Appropriate yarns and colors are suggested to best show the lace effect.  Variations of the weaves are provided for many practical projects on four and eight shaft looms.
